Roland Lechner works closely with multinational companies across a broad array of industries on all types of business immigration matters, corporate policy development, immigration program management and policy development/advocacy. Leveraging his extensive experience, he is passionate about assisting companies with developing and implementing innovative, effective immigration strategies at all stages in their business life cycle.
Prior to joining Mehlman Jacobs, Roland has led the global immigration practices at several large immigration and multidisciplinary law firms. He also served as in-house immigration counsel for one of the largest software companies in the world and is therefore keenly aware of the needs and challenges faced by internal Global Mobility/HR/Legal teams when managing their immigration programs.
In addition to his legal practice, Roland is an active member in the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Arizona and the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association. He is frequently invited to speak at domestic and international immigration/HR conferences on the latest trends and policies in the area of immigration law. Roland has been recognized as a Global Leader in Corporate Immigration by Who’s Who Legal. Roland holds a B.A. in Political Science and a J.D. from the University of Arizona.
